Does anyone have the tools to do the valve wobble test to check for a sticky valve and ream the valve guide? I'm talking about the procedure outlined in Lycoming's SI 1425A (http://www.lycoming.com/Portals/0/te...20Sticking.pdf).
Specifically, I'm looking for: 1) The tool to compress the spring (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...clickkey=21951 2) The tool to measure the wobble (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...alvewobble.php) 3) 0.4985" reamer (my engine is a O-360, and yes, I can find this one easily) As you may know, Lycoming advises to do this test every 400 hours in its SB 388C (http://www.lycoming.com/Portals/0/te...0Condition.pdf) I don't want to be a freeloader, so I'd pay for the use. Or, if nobody has those tools, would anyone be interested in getting together and buying them? There are nicer ones than AS is selling. Holger |
