DESCRIPTION:This month’s Gathering will be at Vans Aircraft\, at the south end of Aurora State Airport. \nSchedule: \n6:30 pm Pizza will be served  \n7:00 Welcome and EAA Chaptergram \n7:10 Van’s leadership Remarks \n7:25 Founder’s Remarks \n7:35 RV-15 Presentation \n7:55 Cacility Tour \n8:30 Wrap it up \nPeople who drive are encouraged to carpool and can park in the Van’s Aircraft front parking lot. \nPrimary aircraft parking is in front of the India Hangar (AIRCRAFT PARKING on the overhead image). \nOverflow parking only if primary parking is full\, in the areas labelled as such. \nVan’s Aircraft\, Inc.\n14401 Keil Rd NE\nAurora\, OR 97002 \n\nChapter Gatherings – are typically on the second Thursday of every month\, 6:30 pm\, usually at the EAA 105 Hangar (G1) at Twin Oaks Airpark\, although sometimes at other venues. We have some food (small donation requested) and socialize from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with the EAA Monthly video\, followed by a special program. Upcoming programs TBD. We are looking for volunteers to help organize or present at future meetings. You can discuss your build project\, do a presentation\, invite a speaker\, show a movie\, or organize a field trip. Contact Rion Bourgeois with your idea for a chapter meeting.

DESCRIPTION:We are sorry to inform you that the 26th Annual Block Party at the Hillsboro Airport is CANCELED! \n  \nDear EAA105 Community\, \nA short update on this weekend’s Hillsboro Airport Block Party. \nThe Port of Portland has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Hillsboro Airport Block Party. This decision comes in response to increased federal activity in the Portland area and around Hillsboro Airport (HIO)\, and reflects the Port’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. While this year’s event won’t take place\, the Port’s commitment to the EAA flight community remains stronger than ever. This community thrives on connection\, shared passion\, and the joy of aviation—and we’re already looking ahead to next year’s Block Party with excitement. With over 2\,000 RSVPs this year\, it’s clear how much the community values what you’ve built together. \nWe at the EAA want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible volunteers who have poured their time\, energy\, and heart into this event. Your creativity\, dedication\, and community spirit are what make this event\, and all of the other events that we organize so special. From planning logistics to building comradery in the flying community\, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. You are the heart of our organization\, and we are deeply grateful. \nWe\, at the chapter\,  will have lots more opportunities to build connections upcoming.
