DESCRIPTION:The NWAAC Annual Pie-In is a scholarship fundraiser typically held the 3rd Saturday in August every year as a part of the long standing tradition of club Fly In events.  The proceeds go directly into the Club’s scholarship funds to support new pilot flight training.  See our Scholarship page for more details. \n\n\n\n\nThe 2025 Pie In will be held on Saturday\, August 16\, in front of the NWAAC Clubhouse at KSPB\, the Scappoose\, Oregon\, airport. \n\n\nFresh pies from Willamette Valley Pie Company served from 1-4pm – Marionberry\, Apple\, Strawberry-Rhubarb\, Cherry\, and Peach \n\n\nPie slices served with Tillamook ice cream – $10 \n\n\nFull fresh pies also available for sale – $60 \n\n\nLive music from the Cider Janes \n\n\nAmelia’s mexican cuisine food truck for lunch until 2pm \n\n\nBiplane rides (weather permitting) \n\n\nAntique airplanes on static display \n\n\nArticle in the Columbia County Spotlight newspaper \n\n\nAccess to the NWAAC Clubhouse through the north gate:

DESCRIPTION:November’s Gathering will be the EAA105 Annual Pie Auction. All members are welcome to make a pie to be auctioned off\, raising money for the EAA105 general fund. Show starts at 6:30 pm in the breakfast hangar. Ice cream and pie are available after the auction.\n\nThe event starts with an annual members meeting\, which is open to the public. The meeting is for the purpose of electing next year’s Board of Directors and Officers. Then the fun of auctioning pies begins. \n \n*  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  * \nChapter Gatherings – are typically on the second Thursday of every month\, 6:30 pm\, usually at the EAA 105 Hangar (G1) at Twin Oaks Airpark\, although sometimes at other venues. We have some food (small donation requested) and socialize from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with the EAA Monthly video\, followed by a special program. Upcoming programs TBD. \nWe are looking for volunteers to help organize or present at future meetings. You can discuss your build project\, do a presentation\, invite a speaker\, show a movie\, or organize a field trip. Contact Rion Bourgeois with your idea for a chapter meeting.
