Three-blade Hartzell carbon fiber prop and polished Stainless-steel spinner. OX computer and beautiful interior details. \nPaul is working hard to get the prop mounted before the open house. The plane moves to Lenhardt’s right after the open house. \nGood parking\, and lots of heated indoor space with a restroom also. \nLocated at: Precision Countertops\n8490 SW Warm Spring. DESCRIPTION:This Monthly Chapter Gathering will be at the Teen Flight Building\, in the southwest corner of the parking lot on the south side of Hillsboro Airport\, off NE Cornell Rd. \nPlease join us to see the teens’ progress in assembling an RV-12. The TeenFlight program includes a group of volunteer mentors led by Dick VanGrunsven to guide teens through the learning process of reading plans and using tools common to aircraft construction. This is the 9th RV-12 built by this Portland area TeenFlight program. \nTeens are between 14 and 19\, and it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 years during the school year\, every Saturday for 6 hours\, to build the airplane.  There is a formal application process with a new class starting in the fall. We love flying and driving these wonderful artifacts and invite you to share in these special days at the museum.  Our action runs between 10am and 2pm. (If you are here early you may be asked to give a hand.) We open the huge hangar doors and start pushing and pulling antique cars\, airplanes\, motorcycles and more – getting them ready to fire up and show you a bit of old technology in action. Each of our actions days has a bit of a different theme. It varies throughout the year.  Stop by often and take the time to learn about and enjoy our wonderful transportation past.
