DESCRIPTION:Dear RC Aviation Enthusiasts\, \nOregon Miniature Aircraft Squadron (OMAS) has completed multiple field upgrades thanks to a former friend\, pilot\, and long-standing member’s final wishes and donation to reinvigorate our facility.  We now have a newly re-paved 450′ asphalt runway and taxiways\, paved parking and approach driveway\, a wide cantilevered canopy shelter with memorialized benches\, ADA parking\, concrete walkways\, and 3 strategically buried drainage systems to control water runoff. \nWe would like to welcome you out for our grand re-opening to celebrate and honor Dave Olsen by flying together and sharing memories of him.  Bring out your favorite planes/helicopters of all sizes\, including turbines as our field can accommodate all varieties. Unfortunately\, float planes and boats will catch weeds in our pond during the summer. \nSpecial thank you to Phil Theodoseau and Cliff Yee from OMAS for running the Project and to Fly-A-Ways RC Club for allowing us to utilize their facility during construction. \nPlease forward our invitation to your club members. DESCRIPTION:The NWAAC Annual Pie-In is a scholarship fundraiser typically held the 3rd Saturday in August every year as a part of the long standing tradition of club Fly In events.  The proceeds go directly into the Club’s scholarship funds to support new pilot flight training.  See our Scholarship page for more details. \n\n\n\n\nThe 2026 Pie In will be held on Sunday\, September 27th\, in front of the NWAAC Clubhouse at KSPB\, the Scappoose\, Oregon\, airport.  This is in conjunction with the KSPB Grand Reopening celebrating the newly refinished runway and lighting. \n\nFresh pies from Willamette Valley Pie Company served from 12-3pm – Marionberry\, Apple\, Strawberry-Rhubarb\, Cherry\, and Peach\nPie slices served with Tillamook ice cream – $10\nFull fresh pies also available for sale – $60\nLive music from the How Long Jug Band\nAmelia’s mexican cuisine food truck for lunch until 2pm\nBiplane rides (weather permitting)\nAntique airplanes on static display\n\nAccess to the NWAAC Clubhouse through the north gate:
