DESCRIPTION:**** Note: This is a Port of Portland Event **** \nEAA 105 will have a space to highlight its programs. Volunteers are encouraged to participate. \nPrepare for a day of flight-filled fun: The Hillsboro Airport is opening its runway for its annual Air Fair on Saturday\, Oct. 5th\, 2024. \n\n\nFamilies can check out the free event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3355 N.E. Cornell Road\, including tours\, flight simulations and more. \n\n\nIt’s a great opportunity for the community to come together\, engage aviation enthusiasts of all ages\, and offer a unique\, behind-the-scenes tour of a working airport. The Port of Portland manages the Hillsboro Airport and is the event sponsor. \n\nMore information will be posted here as it becomes available. \nEvent Posters are available in: \nEnglish\, Spanish\, Cantonese\, Mandarin\, Vietnamese\, Tagalong \nVolunteers and aircraft owners are needed. Aircraft owners can display their aircraft inside or outside a barrier. Outside the barrier is the Fuel Mushroom Transient Parking area. Planes parked inside the barrier should arrive before 11am on Saturday and pilots should stay with their aircraft until 3pm. Lunch is given to all volunteers and pilots inside the barrier. Please RSVP to Chad Koehnen if you can volunteer or bring your aircraft for display.

SUMMARY:Chapter Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Chapter Gatherings – are typically on the second Thursday of every month\, 6:30 pm\, usually at the EAA 105 Hangar (G1) at Twin Oaks Airpark\, although sometimes at other venues. We have some food (small donation requested) and socialize from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.  The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with the EAA Monthly video\, followed by a special program.  Upcoming programs TBD. \nWe are looking for volunteers to help organize or present at future meetings.  You can discuss your build project\, do a presentation\, invite a speaker\, show a movie\, or organize a field trip. Contact Rion Bourgeois with your idea for a chapter meeting.
