DESCRIPTION:EAA Chapter 105 will be hosting an open house and pot-luck dinner at Twin Oaks Airpark hangar G1 on Tuesday July 21\, 6:30 PM. Families\, friends\, student pilots\, instructors\, hangar neighbors\, and others interested in the chapter are welcome to join us. The chapter will provide BBQ pulled pork\, hotdogs\, cheese quesadillas\, water to drink\, plates\, and utensils. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food dish to share and something for themselves to drink if they want more than cold water.

SUMMARY:OMAS Grand Re-Opening
DESCRIPTION:Dear RC Aviation Enthusiasts\, \nOregon Miniature Aircraft Squadron (OMAS) has completed multiple field upgrades thanks to a former friend\, pilot\, and long-standing member’s final wishes and donation to reinvigorate our facility.  We now have a newly re-paved 450′ asphalt runway and taxiways\, paved parking and approach driveway\, a wide cantilevered canopy shelter with memorialized benches\, ADA parking\, concrete walkways\, and 3 strategically buried drainage systems to control water runoff. \nWe would like to welcome you out for our grand re-opening to celebrate and honor Dave Olsen by flying together and sharing memories of him.  Bring out your favorite planes/helicopters of all sizes\, including turbines as our field can accommodate all varieties. Unfortunately\, float planes and boats will catch weeds in our pond during the summer. \nSpecial thank you to Phil Theodoseau and Cliff Yee from OMAS for running the Project and to Fly-A-Ways RC Club for allowing us to utilize their facility during construction. \nPlease forward our invitation to your club members. All clubs in our area are welcome. We look forward to meeting multi-clubs and flying with you. SUMMARY:Build & Fly
DESCRIPTION:Build & Fly is targeted at youth 10-15 but will be open to all youth. Mentors will make every effort to have age appropriate projects available for younger persons. \nBuild & Fly programs are always free for youth. \n*On a very very rare occasion a nominal fee may be requested for something special that will go home with the youth. Plenty of notice will be given for any projects like this. In this case\, financial aid for a youth can be discussed if needed. \n  \nBuild and Fly -Schedule for 2026 \n2/15\, 3/1\, 3/15\, 3/29\, 4/12\, 4/26\, 5/10\, 5/24\, 6/14\, 6/28\, 7/12\, 7/26\, 8/9\, 8/23\,  any scheduling for September through the end of the year will be special scheduled projects. \nProgram times will be from 3:30pm to 5:00pm with dinner after 5. \nFood will be planned for after every session\, a donation is accepted however not expected.
