Main runway is a north and south strip. 2100ft with trees and obstacles on both ends. There is drastically rising terrain just on the North side of the airport. If landing north and a go around is necessary generally a west bound turn out is used. Aircraft performance and pilot skill must be considered. Landing south requires a steep approach and is not commonly used. Both sides of the runway have deep ditches that can be hidden by tall grass. The north end of the runway has a road that butts up against the runway that is frequented by non-airport users so use caution. Do not taxi beyond the north end of the grass and be aware of vehicles crossing. The East/West strip is not considered a runway and should only be used in an emergency. That would be considered an off-airport landing. It’s 1800ft long with marked power lines on the west end and it is up-sloping to the east. The East/West strip also may or may not be used for overflow parking. If there are any questions, please contact Scooter Mainero at 907-331-8389
If driving, the address for car parking is 693 Curtis Hill Rd. Chehalis WA 98532. Limited handicap parking will be available; all others should park in designated parking in the grass.
