The Holiday Banquet will be held on February 9th, 2024 at 6pm at the Columbia Aviation Association at the Aurora Airport. 14323 Stenbock Way NE Ste 9407, Aurora, OR
Open to members and their significant others. Please bring a potluck dish to share.
Cessna 120 restoration project – is ongoing and making progress. It’s open to newcomers. We work on it on the weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Twin Oaks Airpark EAA105 hangar G1. For schedule and weekly updates – ask to be added to the C-120 forum.
Monthly Pancake Breakfast – the first Saturday of every month, at Twin Oaks Airpark upper hangar, serving from 8 am to 10 am. Volunteers – click this to sign up to help.
Young Eagle Rallies will be held after the 2024 June, July, August, and September Pancake Breakfast at the Twin Oaks Airpark EAA 105 Hangar G1. Register your child (ages 9-17) online at YEday.org. Parents will sign our Young Eagle Registration iPad at the event prior to the flight.

Chapter Gatherings – are typically on the second Thursday of every month, 6:30 pm, usually at the EAA 105 Hangar (G1) at Twin Oaks Airpark, although sometimes at other venues. We have some food (small donation requested) and socialize from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with the EAA Monthly video, followed by a special program. Upcoming programs TBD.
We are looking for volunteers to help organize or present at future meetings. You can discuss your build project, do a presentation, invite a speaker, show a movie, or organize a field trip. Contact Rion Bourgeois with your idea for a chapter meeting.

The Annual Membership and Election Meeting will be held at the breakfast hangar at Twin Oaks Airpark on November 9, 2023, followed by the Annual Pie Auction. Our bylaws provide for a minimum of four and a maximum of fifteen directors. The current board at the October meeting can nominate a slate of up to twelve directors and also nominate the four officers who are also directors. At the October 19, 2023 board meeting, the board nominated twelve directors: J. Rion Bourgeois, Bill Jepson, Benton Holzwarth, Jennifer Hickman, Clifford B. Gerber, Greg Hughes, Bruce Rose, Richard Van Grunsven, Jerry Van Grunsven, Chris Riedener, Ken Howe, and Mike Whelan. The board nominated as officers, J. Rion Bourgeois for president, Bill Jepson for vice president, Benton Holzwarth for Secretary, and Jennifer Hickman for treasurer. Up until and during the annual meeting of the members in November, members may nominate alternative officers, and alternative and additional directors so that up to fifteen directors may be elected. All nominees must accept the nomination at or before the annual meeting of members. A member may volunteer to run for director at the annual meeting of members if there are fewer than fifteen directors nominated. There is a monthly board of directors meeting via Zoom on the third Thursday of every month. The meetings last one to two hours. We have on occasion not been able to produce a quorum at the monthly meeting, so please don’t volunteer to be a director unless you intend to attend the directors’ meetings.
