POKER RUN WEATHER DELAY ✈️

Good morning, flyers! Due to the forecast IFR conditions, we are delaying the Poker Run by 1½ hours. Conditions are expected to improve to marginal VFR around 9:00 a.m. and hopefully clear by 10:00 a.m.

Rion will remain at Lenhardt Airpark until 10:30 a.m.

If you cannot make it to Lenhardt by 10:30, you are still welcome to join the Poker Run and pay at Twin Oaks at the end.

If the weather prevents you from reaching all five airports, we will make sure you receive enough cards at Twin Oaks to complete your hand before the final drawing.

⚠️ Seaside traffic reminder: A flyover is scheduled between noon and 1:00 p.m. Please expect increased traffic in the area and keep a careful watch for other aircraft.

☕ Registration is between 7:30 to 9:00 AM at Lenhardt Airpark (7S9)

Each $25 entry gets one poker hand. If more than one person in your airplane wants to play, each person who wants their own hand will need their own entry.

Passengers are absolutely welcome to come along for the adventure without purchasing a poker hand!

The Starduster Cafe opens at 8:00 AM on Poker Run day, so please plan your route accordingly!

Everyone starts at Lenhardt (7S9) and finishes at Twin Oaks (7S3). The airports in between can be visited in whatever order you choose!

Fly the route that works best for you, visit some great local airports, collect your cards, enjoy some beautiful Pacific Northwest flying, and finish the day back at Twin Oaks to see who comes away with the winning poker hand! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

You don’t need the fastest airplane, and you don’t have to fly alone. Bring your friends and family and make a day of it!
